How to Make a Truck Right Real Estate Video

Sliding right past a counter or a line of windows gives the room depth: the foreground moves faster than the far wall. It's the move that makes a kitchen feel long.

What the truck right does

The whole camera slides sideways to the right, like on rails. Glide past counters, hallways and windows.

Slides right. Slide right laterally. Inside the app, every move also has a 3D preview of the rig and the exact photo map it asks for.

The direction and feel of truck right, drawn on one sample photo — not a rendered clip. Villenza builds the real clip from your own three photos, opening on the first and landing on the last.

Best rooms for a truck right

  • Kitchen runs that read left to right
  • Galleries and long window walls
  • Closets and pantries with shelving
  • Patios along the back of the house

The 3 photos to take

Take them in one visit, in the same light. The first photo is where the clip opens and the last is where it lands, so shoot them in the order the camera should travel.

  1. 1

    Where the slide starts

Where you are standing now — this is the opening frame.

  2. 2

    Midway to the right

Half the distance to your right — the view the slide passes through.

  3. 3

    Where the slide ends

Walk well to your RIGHT, same height and angle, and shoot the room from there.

Tips for a better truck right

  • Walk parallel to the wall you are showing, three steps to the right, phone pointed straight ahead the whole way.
  • Put something in the foreground — a stool, a plant, a column — so the slide has depth to it.
  • Make each step overlap the last frame; if the middle photo shares nothing with the first, the step was too big.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Swinging the phone toward the subject as you go, which turns the slide into a pan.
  • Changing height mid-slide.
  • Sliding right into a corner with nothing to land on.

Not sure your photos will work? The AI Listing Planner reads a folder of photos, picks the move each room can support, and says what to re-shoot when a set won't work.

Questions

How many photos does a truck right need?

3 photos of the same room: first where the slide starts, then midway to the right, last where the slide ends. Take them in one visit in the same light — the truck right opens on the first and lands on the last.

How far should I step between photos for a truck?

One or two paces for most rooms. The halfway photo should still show most of what the first one showed — if the views stop overlapping, the camera has to guess the gap.

Is the truck right included on every Villenza plan?

Yes — the truck right, like every travel move, is on every plan at the same 720p HD output; plans differ only in listings per month.
