What the tracking does
The camera walks through the space, following a path. Immersive walkthrough, floor-plan energy.
See the move
Travels through. Gimbal glide through space. Inside the app, every move also has a 3D preview of the rig and the exact photo map it asks for.
Best rooms for a tracking
- Walking from one room into the next
- Open-plan ground floors
- Hallways that lead to a view
- Patios and garden paths
The 3 photos to take
Take them in one visit, in the same light. The first photo is where the clip opens and the last is where it lands, so shoot them in the order the camera should travel.
- 1
Start of the walk
Where the walk begins — this is the opening frame.
- 2
Halfway
Walk half the distance and photograph from there.
- 3
End of the walk
Where the walk finishes and the shot settles.
Tips for a better tracking
- Walk the path you would walk with a buyer.
- Keep the camera at the same height the whole way.
- Take the middle photo exactly halfway along the path.
Mistakes to avoid
- A path with a sharp turn in it.
- Photos taken from different sides of the room.
- Too long a walk for three photos — keep it to one space.
Not sure your photos will work? The AI Listing Planner reads a folder of photos, picks the move each room can support, and says what to re-shoot when a set won't work.
Questions
How many photos does a tracking need?
3 photos of the same room: first start of the walk, then halfway, last end of the walk. Take them in one visit in the same light — the tracking opens on the first and lands on the last.
Can a tracking shot go from one room to another?
Yes, as long as the photos overlap — each one should share something with the next. Keep it to a short walk: one 5-second clip covers a few steps, not the whole floor.
Is the tracking included on every Villenza plan?
Yes — the tracking, like every travel move, is on every plan at the same 720p HD output; plans differ only in listings per month.
