Can I Reuse a Listing Video After the House Sells?

Yes — the listing video becomes a just-sold post, a portfolio piece and part of your listing-presentation reel, as long as the address is not on the video, the seller has not asked for it to come down, and the photos' licence allows continued use. This is why the address and the price belong in the caption, not the clip.

What it becomes

The just-sold video the week of closing; a clip in the monthly 'this month's sales' reel; a piece of the three-listing reel you show sellers; a Short on YouTube retitled 'Sold' that keeps ranking for the street.

Permission and licence

The fact of the sale is public once recorded; the seller's name, the price and any terms need their permission. The photographer's licence usually covers marketing of that listing — ask whether portfolio use is included, or use your own photos.

What to change

The title card to 'Sold', the caption to the result, the link to your site rather than the dead listing page. Nothing else needs re-cutting if the address was never on the clip.

Questions

The seller does not want the house shown after closing. What then?

Take it down; it is their house and their call. Use the exterior only, or nothing, for the just-sold.

Can I use a past listing's video to win a new listing in the same building?

Yes — it is the best possible listing-presentation asset for that building.
