Why it matters
Relocation buyers and the HR people who refer them are on LinkedIn; so are broker-owners recruiting and agents comparing brokerages. A video that shows you marketing listings well reaches all three without selling the house to them.
Step by step
- 1Use the square 1:1 or the wide cut; vertical looks out of place in the LinkedIn feed.
- 2Write the post about the work: the shoot, the move, the market, the buyer this suits — not 'just listed'.
- 3Put the listing facts and link in the first comment, not the post.
- 4Post from your profile; company pages get less reach on LinkedIn.
- 5Post at most a few times a month; LinkedIn rewards consistency over volume.
What goes wrong
- Hashtag blocks and emoji strings from Instagram.
- Vertical video with black bars.
- Selling the house instead of showing the work.
The judgement call
For most agents, LinkedIn is a quarterly habit, not a daily one. For team leads and broker-owners it is the recruiting channel.
Questions
Does LinkedIn drive buyers?
Rarely directly; it drives relocation referrals and recruiting. Judge it by conversations, not views.
Should the brokerage post it too?
The company page can share your post; your profile should be the origin.
