What the pan left does
You stand still and swivel the camera to the left. Sweep left across the room, show layout and flow.

Sweeps left. Swivel to the left. Inside the app, every move also has a 3D preview of the rig and the exact photo map it asks for.
Best rooms for a pan left
- Wide living rooms
- Kitchens that wrap around a corner
- Rooms with a view along one wall
- Showing how two spaces connect
The 3 photos to take
Take them in one visit, in the same light. The first photo is where the clip opens and the last is where it lands, so shoot them in the order the camera should travel.
- 1
Straight ahead
Facing forward, feet planted — this is the opening frame.
- 2
Part way left
Same spot — turn about halfway to the left and shoot that.
- 3
Full left
Same spot — turn as far left as the sweep should reach, and shoot that.
Tips for a better pan left
- Stand in a corner or a doorway and don't move your feet — only turn.
- Overlap each photo with the one before by about a third.
- Pan toward the room's best feature, so the clip ends on it.
Mistakes to avoid
- Walking between photos — that makes a truck, not a pan.
- No overlap between frames, so the camera has to invent the gap.
- Tipping the phone up or down while turning.
Not sure your photos will work? The AI Listing Planner reads a folder of photos, picks the move each room can support, and says what to re-shoot when a set won't work.
Questions
How many photos does a pan left need?
3 photos of the same room: first straight ahead, then part way left, last full left. Take them in one visit in the same light — the pan left opens on the first and lands on the last.
Should I pan left or pan right?
Pan toward the room's best feature so the clip ends on it. The two moves are mirror images, and in Villenza a clip that comes out the wrong way round can be mirrored afterwards.
Is the pan left included on every Villenza plan?
Yes — the pan left, like every swivel move, is on every plan at the same 720p HD output; plans differ only in listings per month.
