The rule behind every room
Opening frame, path, landing frame. The opening is where a buyer would first see the room; the landing is the detail the room is about. The camera-move guides show the exact map for each move.
Room by room
- Kitchen: doorway wide → halfway → the island close. Add a straight-on and an overhead-angled shot if you want the overhead rise.
- Living room: corner wide → halfway → the fireplace or window close. Add left-of-feature and right-of-feature for a truck & pan.
- Primary bedroom: doorway → halfway → the window or headboard wall.
- Bathroom: doorway → halfway → the tub or vanity; add a ceiling-angled shot for a tilt.
- Staircase: foot of the stairs → mid-flight → the landing.
- Tall room: eye level → angled up halfway → the ceiling, from one spot.
- Outdoor room: inside facing the doors → in the doorway → outside on the patio.
- Pool: one end → midway → the far end, facing across the water.
- Exterior: kerb → halfway up the drive → at the door; and left corner → front door → right corner from across the street.
- Aerials: three along one line — front, over, back for a fly-over; high, mid, low straight down for a top-down.
Questions
Can the photographer shoot these on the normal visit?
Yes — it adds a few minutes per room. Most already take the opening and the landing; the middle frame is the addition.
What about the secondary bedrooms?
Three each, doorway to window. They are the quickest rooms.
